Enjoy a delicious and healthy Mushroom soup with aromatic and crisp bread.
Recipe:
Sliced Mushrooms: 250g
Butter: 4 TBSP
Chopped onion: One Medium
Garlic Paste: 2 TBSP
Chicken Stock: 1 Cup
Thyme: 1 TSP
Paprika: 1 TSP
Soy Sauce: 1 TSP
Salt: 1/2 TSP
Black Pepper: 1/2 TSP
Milk: 1 Cup
All purpose flour: 1 TBSP or 1.5 TBSP for thicker soup.
Fresh cream: 1/4 Cup
Fry onions in butter until soft, about 2 minutes.
Add Mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are soft, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the chicken stock.
Add paprika, soy sauce, salt, black pepper and thyme.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes on medium heat.
Add the milk and flour mixture
cook another 10 minutes
Add the fresh cream and cook 2-3 minutes.
if you feel your soup has become too thick you an add a little milk with cream.
To Make Bread:
Take fresh bread of your choice.
Add Olive oil in bowl (about 5 tbsp)
Add dried Basil leaves, and garlic paste, mix well.
Rub with a brush on bread and grill on griddle or a pan.
Enjoy delicious soup with crisp bread!
