Mediterranean-inspired Greek Yogurt Chicken with Garlic Sauce Recipe
Hey guys! Today, we are continuing with another version of a wrap. Instead of Indian, we are making a Mediterranean-inspired greek yogurt chicken wrap with a delicious garlic sauce to top it off. One of my favorite cuisines is mediterranean, and I am so excited to introduce this simple, yet refreshing dish with all of you guys!

Ingredients:
For the chicken:
1 Chicken breast (cubed)
1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
5 cloves of Garlic
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp dried Oregano
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp ground Cumin
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp fresh Lemon juice
Zest of 1/2 lemon
2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for cooking)
For the sauce:1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
1/8 Cup Mayo
2 Tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
2 cloves of Garlic
1 tsp of dried Mint
For the assembly:
Roti/Pita
Lettuce
Tomato
Red onion
Cilantro mint chutney (optional, check out our previous video on Kati Rolls to learn how to make this)
Instructions
1. Cube the chicken breast and put into bowl.
2. Mince the garlic, and combine with greek yogurt, salt, oregano, paprika, cumin, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl. Mix well, and add the chicken to the marinade and coat the chicken well. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
3. For the sauce: combine yogurt, mayo, lemon juice, garlic, and mint. Mix and set aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
4. The chicken can be grilled, cooked on the stovetop, or baked in the oven. On the stovetop, add about 2 Tbsp of olive oil to a medium pan on medium heat. Cook the chicken until it’s fully cooked (~10 minutes).
5. Heat the roti or pita on a small pan on stovetop for about 1 minute on each side.
6. Assemble the the chicken on a warm pita or roti. Top it off with lettuce, tomato, red onion, cilantro mint chutney, and/or garlic sauce, and enjoy!
