Spicy and Shoyu Poke Nachos!
To make Shoyu Ahi Poke: You will need a fresh piece of ahi (we used a little less than a pound), 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1/4 cup of Kikkoman shoyu, about 3 tablespoons of Aloha shoyu, sprinkle some garlic powder, sprinkle in some Hawaiian salt, 1/4 cup of sweet onion, 3-4 green onions [ingredient amounts are based on your taste preference]
To make Spicy Ahi Poke: You will need a fresh piece of ahi (we used a little less than a pound), 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1/4 cup of Kikkoman Shoyu, about 3 tablespoons of Aloha shoyu, sprinkle in garlic powder, sprinkle in some Hawaiian salt, 1/4 cup of sweet onion, 3-4 green onions, 3-4 tablespoons of Kewpie mayo, 1-2 tablespoons of Shiracha (depending on how spicy you want it), sprinkle in some Paprika [ingredient amounts are based on your taste preference]
While the poke is in the refrigerator chilling, you can start frying the chips.
To make the chips: You can use any bag of chips (Sinaloa always tastes good by itself), but for that crispy and tasty flavor, we used Won Ton Pi wrappers. Cut them into triangle shaped pieces and fried in oil. Once golden brown, remove from oil and sprinkle some salt for taste.
