EASY MARINADE FOR FRESH SEA BASS WITH CHERMOULA AND ISRAELI COUS COUS

This simple chermoula marinade for sea bass is one of my go-to Mediterranean dishes. Iโ€™ll guide you through one of my favorite marinades for fish, chicken, or beef. Itโ€™s really easy to put together. The couscous is a great side dish on its own with bright citrus notes.

FENNEL CONFIT RECIPE

1 T Cumin Seed
1 T Coriander Seed
1 tsp Aleppo Chili (or Paprika)
1 C Cilantro Leaves
1 Parsley Leaves
2 tsp Fresh Ginger
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Lemon (Juice and Zest)
2 tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 T Paprika
1/2 C Olive Oil

Sea Bass

1 # of Fresh Sea Bass (Halibut or Cod Work Too)
2 tsp Kosher Salt

Israeli Couscous

6 oz Couscous
14 oz Liquid (Stock or Water)
1 T Turmeric Powder
1 T Kosher Salt

Seasoned With

6 oz Cherry Tomato
2 T Chopped Parsley
4 oz Fennel Confit
1 Lemon (Juice and Zest)
Salt to Taste
