Here we go!!! Low Carb Big Mac Salad . This dish actually DOES taste like a big mac!!! See below
Ingredients
BIG MAC SAUCE
3/4 cup Mayonnaise
4 tsp Mustard (any style, I used spicy brown)
2 tbsp Dill Pickles Diced
1 tbsp White Vinegar
1 tbsp onions minced
2 teaspoon Sugar (or a sugar substitue)
1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
SALAD
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
4 cups chopped Iceberg Lettuce (or whatever green you prefer)
½ cup Sliced Onions cut in half (I used red onions, you can use whatever)
1 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (again…..whatever your prefer)
1/4 cup Dill Pickles (sliced)
HOW TO
Big Mac Sauce
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and place in the refrigerator. Its always best to let a sauce sit for a bit so the flavors can get together but its not a need. I let mine sit for about 3 hours, and doubled the recipe so I can use it during the week.
2. There is no 2…..just mix it all together
Salad
1. Brown your beef. Season with salt and pepper (I also add garlic).
2. Chop up your lettuce
3. Slice onion and cut slices in half
4. Slice or chop pickles, whatever you prefer
5. Put lettuce in bowl, add toppings (onion, pickles and cheese) then scoop some beef onto it and top with big mac sauce.
6. EAT
