Lamb Curry Indian Recipe | How to make Spicy Lamb Curry Indian Style

Lamb curry,Goat curry,mutton curry various type of meat you can use in this recipe.restaurant style recipes

Recipe for Lamb curry
Ingredients:

For pressure cook:
Lamb or goat meat – 500g
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp black peppercorns
6 green cardamoms
2 black cardamoms
some bay leaves
6 cloves
salt to taste
some water

For curry:

2 medium size onions thinly sliced
1 green chilli thinly sliced
3 small tomatoes chopped
6 cloves of garlic grated
nob of ginger grated
fresh coriander leaves chopped
1/2 tsp(2g) turmeric powder
1/2 tsp(2g) red chilli powder( you can add more according to taste)
1 tsp(5g) cumin powder
2 tsp(10g) coriander powder
salt to taste
oil 2 tbsp(30ml)

Method:

Combine all the pressure cook ingredients including lamb in a pressure cooker and cook for 20 min or according to your pressure cooker instruction.

Meanwhile heat a saucepan and add oil to it.
Once the oil heat up add grated ginger and garlic and cook to 2 min.
add sliced onion along with salt and cook for 5 min. or until onions gets caramelised.
now add green chilli and chopped tomatoes.
and add all the dry spices and simmer for 10 min. ( add some water if needed)

Now add cooked lamb with liquid.( you can reduce the liquid if its too much)

Simmer for 10 min. or until sauce reduced to half.

garnished with fresh coriander and serve the lamb curry with choice of rice or roti.
