Turkish Red Lentil soup is packed full of flavour and very warming – it’s the perfect soup recipe for fall and winter seasons!
To make the Turkish Red Lentil Soup recipe, you will need:
2 tbs olive oil
1 onion
2 small carrots
salt to taste
1 tbs tomato puree
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried mint
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (pul biber)
1 cup red lentils
1 litre stock (we used a vegetable stock cube dissolved in 1L water, but you can use any stock of your choice)
To make the Paprika Oil to drizzle over the Turkish Red Lentil Soup, you will need:
2 tbs olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (pul biber)
