Sneak peak into the Spaghetti and Meatballs Recipe:
Ingredients
Chicken (Minced) – 250 grams (2 cups)
Onion – 1 and 1/2 cups (chopped)
Garlic – 4 tbsp (chopped)
Garlic Powder – 1 tbps
Sweet Paprika – 1 tbsp
Crushed Black pepper – 3 tbsp
Oregano – 3 tbsp
Bread crumbs – 1cup
Red Chilly Flakes – 3 tbsp
Oil – 4 tbsp
Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
Butter – 6 tbsp
Fresh Tomato puree – 2 cups
Tomato Ketchup – 1/2 cup
Fresh basil leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Parmesan cheese – 1 cup (grated)
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Heat water, bring it to a roaring boil. Add salt and the spaghetti to it. Cook until al Dante. drain off and keep aside.
2. Next, in a pan add butter, olive oil. Fry some garlic until brown, add oregano, crushed pepper, chilly flakes, salt and the boiled spaghetti. toss well and keep aside.
3. Caramelize 1/2 cup chopped onion.
4. In a mixing bowl, add minced chicken, caramelized onion, garlic powder, oregano, crushed pepper, chilly flakes, salt, parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and mix all the ingredients well.
5. Form balls from the prepared mix and fry them well uniformly on all sides.
6. Heat butter and oil, add onions, garlic, tomato puree, oregano, crushed pepper, chilly flakes, salt, tomato ketchup, basil leaves and fry well.
7. When oil starts coming up, add water and bring to a boil.
8. Add the meatballs and shimmer for 3 – 5 minutes on medium heat, but do not overcook.
9. Add the spaghetti pasta on serving plate, top it with the prepared meatballs on it and garnish with parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
