Here’s a quick, easy, and delicious recipe on how to make the most mouth watering hummus dip!
Ingredients:
30 oz of cooked and drained chickpeas (~10 oz dry)
⅔ cup of sesame paste
Juice of 1 large lemon
1.5 teaspoons of salt
Ice cubes as needed
Optional: garlic cloves, olive oil, cumin, paprika
Directions:
Soak chickpeas overnight
Boil them until they are fork tender, drain, and place in fridge
Add fully drained and very cold chickpeas to a food processor
Add sesame paste, salt, and lemon juice and begin processing
If the hummus is too thick, add ice cubes one at a time until desired consistency is achieved
Plate up hummus add olive oil, paprika, and cumin if you like and enjoy with pita bread!
