Ingredients
Chicken 300g/10.5oz
Onion ½
Garlic 2-3 cloves ( minced )
Bell pepper red and green ½ each
Crushed chilli 1 tsp
Cooking oil 1-2 tbsp
Chicken Marinade Ingredients
Regular soy sauce 1 tbsp
Cornstarch ½ tsp
Sugar ½ tsp
Cooking oil 2 tsp
Stir Fry Sauce
Oyster sauce – 3 tbsp
Regular soy sauce – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Water 2 tbsp
Chinese Cooking rice wine 1 tbsp
Cornstarch ½ tsp
Dark soy sauce 1 tsp
Instructions
Cut chicken into thin strips. Marinate chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and cooking oil. Mix it well and set it aside.
Prepare vegetables: onion, garlic, and bell peppers. Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set it aside.
Heat the pan over medium-high heat.
Stir fry onion and bell peppers for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set it aside.
In the remaining pan, add more oil. Add the marinated chicken and let it sear for 1-2 minutes. Add garlic and crushed chillies. Stir it well until the chicken is about 80% cooked.
Pour the sauce and follow with fried bell peppers and onions. Stir everything well until the sauce is thick and glossy. Enjoy!
