Hummus is a staple in the appetizer (mazza) menu in the middle eastern cuisine. This dish can be enjoyed with pita bread (khubz) as an appetizer, as a topping in falafel sandwiches, or as a dip/snack with some veggie sicks.

Servings: 3
Ingredients:
1 x 19 fl oz (540 ml) Can of Chickpeas, washed & drained
2 x tbsp Tahini
1/3 x tsp Ground Cumin
2 x Pinches of Salt (to taste)
1/2 x Lemon (juice of 1/2 Lemon)
4 x tbsp Cold Water (as needed)
1/2 x tsp Garlic Powder (Optional – to taste)
1/4 x tsp Smoked Paprika Powder (Optional – to taste – garnish)
1/4 x tsp Crushed Chili Flakes or Garlic Siracha Paste (Optional – to taste – garnish)
Olive Oil (To taste – garnish)
