“Home-Made Beef Nihari Ingredients”

– Beef shank meat 1 kg
– Oil 1cup
– Ginger Garlic paste 4 Tbsp
– Wheat flour 6 Tbsp

Nihari masala ingredients:

– Dried ginger 1 Tbsp
– Cumin 1 tbsp
– Funnel seeds 1.5 tbsp
– Nut Meg seed and Mace powder 1 Tap
– Black Pepper 15 to 18
– Clove 6 to 8
– Cinnamon 1 inch piece
– Bay leaves medium size 2
– Green cardamom 5 to 6
– Star anise 2
– Long pepper 2
– Red chilli powder 1 Tbsp
– Salt ! Tbsp
– Turmeric powder 1 Tsp
– Paprika Powder 1 tbsp
– Mix whole spices and dried ginger in grinder machine to make powder
– Then mix powdered spices (red chilli, turmeric, paprika and salt)
– Home made nihari masala is ready for 1 kg beef nihari

Preparation method:

– Heat oil in a pot on medium flame
– put beef shank and fry until colour change.
– Add Ginger Garlic paste and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
– Add home made nihari masala and saute again for 2 minutes.
– Add 2 litte of water cover & cook on medium flame for 1 hour until meat become tender.
– After one hour check the meat Tenderness and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
-Add 2 cup of water for making gravy.
– Add wheat flour mixture ( add water in flour and mix well make sure there should be no lump in mixture) and mix well.
– Cover & Cook on low flame for half an hour.
-oil comes up, Now” Tasty and Delicious beef nihari is ready to dish out.
– Serve with garnishing With chopped green Coriander leaves, lemon, ginger and chopped green chillies.
