Hello guys, I hope you and your family are okey. The recipe today is CAJUN SHRIMP WITH GARLIC.

Cajun food is known for spicy full flavours and originates from the Southern USA around Louisiana after Acadian immigrants from Canada settled there. It also has influences from Spanish, Native and African American cuisines. I am accompanying the dish with corn on the cob and potatoes. It is easy to cook and cheaper than eating it out in a restuarant.

INGREDIENTS

500g fresh shrimp
3 pieces corn on the cob,cut into pieces
15 pieces baby potatoes
1/3 cup butter
1 whole garlic
7 Up or Sprite

For the Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoon paprika powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
