My Spicy Homemade Jamaican Jerk Cabbage Patties.
•Here’s the recipe.
•How I made my crust.
• 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour.
• 1 Tsp Grace Curry Powder.
• 1 Tsp Trader Joe’s Tumeric Powder.
• ½ Tsp Pink Himalayan Salt.
• ½ Tsp Baking Powder.
•1 ¼ Chilled Sticks Earth Balance Vegan Buttery Sticks.
•½ Chilled Ice water.
Method: Mix dry ingredients well.
-Cut butter into cubes.
-Add Chilled Water.
-Knead Dough.
-Once the dough is nice and firm like your tail.
– Let it sit for an hour.
– once ready to use.
– Sprinkle a little flour and portion out the dough.
– Use a rolling pin and roll out the portioned dough like a red carpet, baby this dough is royalty.
– Once the dough is nice and flat like your back.
– Start adding the filling.
– Fold over then pressing together.
– Use a pizza cutter to shape patties.
– Use a fork to seal the ends and poke tiny holes at the top then bake @350 for 30 minutes.
-Dough Makes 8 Patties.

For the cabbage. 👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿
Jerk Flavored Cabbage.
•½ Cabbage shredded and washed then season to the voice of the ancestors with.
•Jerk seasoning, Sprinkle with caution are else your gonna need a new tail.
•Trader Joe’s Everything But The Leftovers Seasoning. That’s seasoning will have you selling your prize positions.
•Old Bay Seasoning. This brings out the down South Flare.
•Ground all Spice, hold that heavy hands of yours, don’t sprinkle too much.
•Garlic powder, dump the whole bottle.
•Smoked Paprika, you know that only give you color, that gal ain’t got a flavor in the world.
•Now grab ½ red, green &yellow bell peppers because your food needs colors.
•200 cloves of Garlic, Lord knows I ran out of garlic, this is not my normal usage.
•3 Sprigs of Thyme, fresh is best.
•3 Stalks of Green Onions,
•1 Red Onion, chopped it up
•Now heat that big Brenda Frying Pan on medium heat, with 2 tbsp coconut oil.
•Add spices.
•Wake up spices for a few mins.
•Add chopped garlic, onion, thyme.
•Add cabbage and combine well.
•Cover and let it steam.
•Add the bell peppers and green onions and stir it up.
•Cover and let it steam for 3-5 mins and you’re done.
