Ingredients:
-salmon filets
-seasonings of your choice (I used garlic salt, onion powder, slap ya mama, pepper, adobo, and paprika)
-lil olive oil to coat the salmon and pan
-2 tbs butter
-4 cloves minced garlic
-1/4 c. water
-1/4 c. low sodium soy sauce
3 tbs. honey
2 tsp. cornstarch
Instructions:
1. drizzle olive oil on salmon, and rub in seasonings
2. heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium high heat and place salmon filets skin side up in the pan. Cook for 5-6 min. per side or until cooked thru
3. remove salmon from pan and place on plate. Wrap with aluminum foil.
4. Add garlic to pan and cook until fragrant.
5. add water, honey, and soy sauce to pan; bring to a simmer
6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch w/ 1 tbs. cold water.
7. Slowly pour cornstarch mixture into pan and whisk to combine. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 min. or until sauce has thickened.
8. Return the salmon to the pan and spoon the sauce over top.
