Ingredients:
For Spice mixture 1:
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon basil
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups flour
5 chicken drumsticks
Vegetable oil (I used sunflower oil )
For Spice mixture 2:
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon thyme
Instructions:
1- Combine all the spices in the spice mixture 1 in a small bowl and coat the chicken drumsticks with spice mixture
2- Marinate chicken with buttermilk for 4 to 24 hours in the refrigerator
3- In a large bowl mix flour and spice mixture 2. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, shaking off any excess, then transfer the drumsticks to the flour mixture and coat well.
4-Deep Fry at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, turn chicken pieces and cook for another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
5-Remove chicken from pan. Place on a rack over a cookie sheet or broiling pan for the excess oil to drain
