Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients
* 1 lbs shrimp(shell on deveined)
* 5 tbsp butter
* 1/3 cup garlic(chopped)
* 3 tbsp rice flour
* 3 tbsp corn starch
* 2 tsp salt
* 1 tbsp paprika
* 1/2 tsp garlic powder
* 4 tbsp oil
* 1 Lemon
* Rice
Instructions
1. Cut shrimp down the middle with scissors to take out the poop using a toothpick.
2. Mince garlic and heat butter on medium low heat. Sauté the garlic for 4-5 minutes until it’s in between translucent and golden brown.
3. Combine rice flour, corn starch, salt, and paprika in a bowl. Thoroughly coat shrimp in mixture.
4. Heat oil on medium heat and cook shrimp for a couple of minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Add the garlic butter from earlier and baste for a minute or so making sure each shrimp is coated in the garlic butter.
6. Squeeze some lemon juice onto the shrimp and serve with rice and some garlic butter on top.
