Festive Dal soup Recipe:

Ingredients
3 1/4 cups water
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
freshly ground pepper
1 cup red lentils
1 15 oz. can garbanzo beans,(chickpeas) drained and rinsed
1 14.5 oz. can tomatoes, diced
1 Tbsp lemon juice fresh
1 tsp Sambal chili paste(I used 2 tbsp)
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped( I added extra)
