Green Fried Tomatoes with YUMMMY Dipping Sauce pt2 New things

Dipping Sauce
3/4 cup Mayo
1/2 TBS Fancy Mustard
1 TBS Whole grain Mustard
Juice of half a lemon
2 Minced Garlic Cloves
2 Scallions/Green Onion finely chopped
1 TBS Cappers Chopped
2 splashes Worcestershire
2 splashes Hot Sauce
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Smoked Paprika
Basically chopped what needs chopped, Squeeze what needs squeezed and mix it all together.

3 Bowl Batter
Bowl 1- 1 Cup Flour with any seasonings you like
Bowl 2- 2 eggs with 1/2 C Buttermilk whisked together
Bowl 3- 1 Cup Bread crumbs, 1/2 Cup Corn meal

Tomatoes
Any type of Green Tomato you have
Slice about 1/4 thick, lay out on tray lined with Parchment Paper, sprinkle salt over then to help draw moisture out..Let sit about 30 min and pat dry before beginning to Batter them up.

Pan or Skillet for frying..any type..Cast Iron works very well
I used Corn Oil brought up to 350 degree at least 2 inches deep…
lower battered tomatoes into oil, they will sink to bottom, as they cook and turn light to golden brown they will begin to float..they are done.
Lay out onto paper towels and ENJOY LIFE.
