In this short video, I discuss why I went vegan and show how I make vegan yam + egg, a staple in Nigerian cuisine. Disclaimer – everyone makes Naija food differently; this is how I make mine.

Spices:
Sulphur salt (kala namak): optional, gives it an eggy smell and flavor
Mushroom powder or Knorr cube: add to your desired salty taste
0.5 – 1 tbsp of smoked paprika, curry powder, onion powder, spicy crushed pepper, dried bay leaves.
