Let’s level up our fried chicken with these easy recipes.
Here are the ingredients for:
~ Orange Fried Chicken ~
Chicken Breast (cut into bite sizes) or
Chicken Thighs (best results)
1 Egg White
1/2 cup of Flour
1/3 cup Corn Starch
Salt and Pepper to taste (approx. 1 Tbsp each)
Orange Sauce:
1/2 cup Vinegar
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp of minced Garlic
1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Sesame Seeds (optional)
1/3 cup Orange Juice
1 Tbsp ginger
1 Tbsp Orange Zest or Lemon Zest (either or)
4 – 6 Tbsp of Honey
2 Tbsp of Starch and water mixed together to make the slurry
Sesame Seeds (optional)
~ Honey Garlic Fried Chicken ~
3 Chicken Breasts – cut into strips
1 Qt Buttermilk
3 Eggs
Hot Sauce to Taste
2 C Flour
1 C Corn Starch
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
Oil for Frying
Honey Garlic Sauce
3/4 C Honey
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
3 Cloves of Garlic – minced
1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/3 C Water
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
Scallions & Sesame Seeds for garnish
~ Chicken Wet Fry ~
Chicken (any part but best with thighs)
1 Tsp Garlic minced
1 Tsp Ginger julienne
1 Tbsp paprika
green bell pepper julienne
4 Tomatoes chop
1 Tsp Tomato paste
salt to tatse
cinammon
corriander
1 large onion
