Today I’m making the classic BLT but with an added twist for my vegan (and non-vegan) friends. This vegan bacon is a simple and powerful way to kick up many dishes. Give it a try and let me know how it works!
Ingredients:
Vegan Bacon
– Rice paper
– 6T tamari sauce
– 4T (24g) Nutritional yeast
– 4T olive oil or butter
– 1T maple syrup
– 1/2T liquid smoke OR 1T barbecue sauce
– 1/2T smoked paprika
– 1/2t freshly ground black pepper
– 1T garlic powder
