Oven baked chicken
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 200°C / 400°F.
2. Prepare the chicken:
• Cube 1000g boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
• Place in a large mixing bowl.
3. Add seasonings and sauce ingredients to the bowl:
• 1.5 tsp black pepper
• 20g minced garlic
• 20g ginger paste
• 2 tsp red pepper flakes
• 30g honey
• 30g sriracha
• 100g freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1.5 tsp lemon zest
• 25g dark soy sauce
4. Mix everything well so the chicken is evenly coated with the marinade.
5. Let it marinate for at least 15–30 minutes for deeper flavor (optional but recommended).
6. Arrange chicken pieces on a lined baking tray or air fryer basket in a single layer.
7. Bake or air fry for 30 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown and glazed.
• Check for doneness
9. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or a side of vegetables.
Oven Baked Sweet Potatoes
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C / 400°F.
2. Prepare the sweet potatoes:
• Wash, peel (optional), and cut 2–3 medium sweet potatoes into bite-sized cubes or wedges.
3. Season the potatoes in a large bowl:
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp paprika or smoked paprika
• (Optional: ½ tsp garlic powder or a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor)
4. Toss well to evenly coat the potatoes with oil and seasonings.
5. Spread them out on a lined baking tray in a single layer—don’t overcrowd for best crispiness.
6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potatoes are golden brown and tender on the inside.
7. Serve warm alongside your oven-baked chicken.
