Hello guys! Chicken Fajitas is our special today. It is a classic Mexican recipe. Juicy chicken is seasoned, seared and cooked to perfection with sauteed bellpeppers and onions. The chicken fajitas are served with warm tortillas and toppings. Please watch the video and give our chicken fajitas a try and let me know what you think.
Here’s what you’ll need:
500 g boneless chicken breast, sliced into strips
1-2 tbsp seasoning powder for fajitas
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 red bellpepper, thinly sliced
1 green bellpepper, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
4 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
4-6 flour tortillas
PROCEDURES:
– Season the chicken with seasoning powder for fajitas, paprika and dried oregano.
– Mix until well coated, then cover and refrigereate for about 15 to 30 minutes.
– In a preheated pan, over medium heat, add 2 tbsp oil, red and green bellpeppers and onion.
– Saute for about 3 minutes or until slightly softened.
– Remove the vegetables from the pan and place into a plate.
– in the same pan, add another 2 tbsp of oil. Saute the minced garlic, then add the seasoned
chicken.
– cooked for about 5 minutes or until the chicken are done.
– Add in the vegetables back into the pan and mix it into chicken, then cooked for another
minute.
– Transfer to a serving bowl or plate.
– Heat the tortillas in a pan or microwave.
– Prepare for adding the toppings like yogurt sauce, mayonnaise or sour cream and avocado
– You can add more toppings like lettuce, pico de gallo, chili or jalapenos or whatever else
you want.
– Serve warm and ENJOY!

NOTE:
– If you don’t have tortillas, you can served the Chicken Fajitas with a side of steamed rice, pasta, lettuce or you can eat as is. Either way it’s DELICIOUS.
