INGREDIENTS:
Salt
Black pepper
Rosemarry
Thyme
Paprika
Carrot 1/2
Fresh garlic 1 whole
Bay leaves x3
Onion 1whole large
3cups beef stock for sauce.
1 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste.
Baby potatoes
200g apf
3 eggs
300ml milk
450F
canola oil
1 cup marsala wine
Mushroom 1 cup.
INSTRUCTIONS:
For sauce and prime rib:
1)Season meat with thyme, paprika, rosemary, salt and pepper. Rub evenly
2)Pan sear on high heat on each side
3)When brown, set aside
4)Add chopped carrot, onion, garlic, and bay leaves in the same pan
5)Place rib on top and bake in the oven for 2.5-3 hours (290F)
6)When finished, place rib in separate tray and cover with foil
7)Saute mushrooms in 3 tbsp butter then set aside for sauce
8)Using the sauce in the pan (crush first), add flour and mix well on medium heat
9)Add 1 cup marsala wine (optional) and 3 cups beef stock
10)Strain into another pot
11)Add heavy cream and 1 tbsp butter, top with salt and pepper to taste
12)Add mushrooms and voila
For potatoes:
1)Add oil, paprika, salt, pepper and toss
2)Bake in oven until done
For Yorkshire pudding:
1)Add tablespoon of oil in tray, then bake in oven until hot
2)Mix eggs, flour, and milk in a bowl then poor in baking tray
3)Bake in oven for 10 minutes at 450F
