INGREDIENTS FOR FISH CURRY RECIPE / MACHLI KA SALAN
½ cup Oil
1 tsp Fenugreek Seed
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
1 small Sliced Onion
½ tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Cup Tomato Paste
½ cup Yogurt
½ tsp Red Chili Powder
½ tsp Paprika Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Carom Seeds
1 pinch Black Seeds
To taste Salt
500 gram Fish
As required Water
2 chopped Green Chilies
½ tsp Garam Masala
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds, and allow to splutter.
2. Then add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 30 to 60 seconds.
4. Now add the tomato paste, yogurt, red chili powder, paprika powder, coriander powder, carom seeds and black seeds. Mix all spices well. Keep stirring until you get a thick consistency.
5. Add salt mix and cook for 10 minutes with a lid on.
6. When fish curry masala is ready, add fish pieces to the curry, along with a little water and let it simmer on low heat until the fish is fully cooked.
7. Now add chopped green chilies and all spices/ garam masala. Simmer for another 5 minutes on low heat.
8. Yumitizer special fish curry is ready to eat. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
9. You can serve with rice or roti. Enjoy!
