Recipe:
-4 cups of flour (have a little extra to the side if needed and for dusting.)
-4 eggs
-1 cup of warm milk
-1/2 cup yogurt
-1/2 lb. seasoned beef patty
-olive oil
-braised pork, sheep cheese, sauerkraut (for toppings)
-vegetable oil
In a frying pan drizzle some olive oil and cook beef patty on high heat to your liking. Remove from heat an place to the side. In a large bowl add flour, milk, yogurt and egg and mix with your hands and form a ball. (NOTE: If your dough is still too loose, add a little bit more flour until your dough forms thicker. Basically eyeball it.) Take ball and place on a floured surface and start to knead. Roll out dough. Place patty on the middle and add your toppings. Start to form your dough around the patty and remove the extra dough and place in saran wrap in a ball. Place in the freezer for 15 mins to form. In a large pot or deep fryer of vegetable oil at 375°F, safely place burger into oil and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes or until the color looks golden brown. Remove from oil. Cut in half, plate, serve & enjoy!
(NOTE: With your extra ingredients, you should be able to make 2 burgers or place remaining dough to the side in a Ziploc and store for up to 2 weeks in fridge.)
