Hey Beautiful food lovers, welcome back to DD’s Cuisine, this is another episode to bring your guys a lovely and delicious and tempting recipe,
We are making Crab cakes, crab meat is actually very healthy, high in protein & very low in fat, carbs & calories. So we can enjoy these as a starter or a main course. So Lets get cracking with another delicious recipe.
Ingredients:-
300g Lump Crab meat, 1 egg, 1Tbsp Mayo, salt 1/4tsp, cayenne pepper 1/2tsp, 1/2tsp smoked paprika, 1/2tsp black pepper, 1Tbsp Parsley chopped, 1Tbsp Chopped Dill, 1/2tsp Dijon mustard, 1Tsp lemon juice, 2 shallots finely diced, 2Red chillies finely diced. Pickled cucumber/gherkins
Method:-
Heat 1 Tbsp Olive oil, add diced shallots and red chillies, Saute them to translucent point only. Take them off stove and let them cool down, In a big mixing bowl crack one egg add 1Tbsp mayo, mix them well until they are incorporated well.
Add sauted veg mix them well, now add 1/2tsp smoked paprika, 1/2tsp cayenne pepper,1/4tsp salt, 1/2 Tbsp black pepper, 1tsp lemon juice, & 1/2tsp Dijon mustard. Mix everything well then add 1Tbsp of chopped dill, 1 Tbsp chopped parsley/coriander, mix all well now add lump crabmeat, fold everything together, now add 3Tbsp of white breadcrumbs and refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes.
Remoulade sauce/ Tarter Sauce
1 whole gherkins very finely chopped, 1 cup mayo, add chopped gherkins, 1Tbsp dill, 1Tbsp chopped parsleys,1Tbsp Chopped Tarragon, Pinch of black pepper, 1Tsp smoked paprika, Mix everything well & enjoy it with fish, meat chicken or anything you like.
Take the crabmeat mixture out and make as many patties you like,
Little bit oil in the pan on the low to medium heat. Gently lay crab cakes in the pan and fry them for 4 to 6 minutes each side, depends upon the thickness really,
Serve them with tartar sauce & ages balsamic vinegar.
