For nearly nine years, Instructor Carol Hamilton has provided cooking classes to adults served in Capper Foundation’s Day Services Program, teaching them how to prepare healthy Weight Watchers “five-ingredient” recipes. These lessons offer adults served a chance to become more independent and comfortable in the kitchen. They learn cooking techniques, food handling safety, how to read recipes, grocery shopping tips, task-oriented activities and how to have fun the kitchen! As a bonus, they get to take home tasty meals!
