Goulash is well-known as traditional Hungarian dish. Not only in Hungary, goulash is widely served worldwide, and especially in Europe. Goulash is the stew of meat and vegetables. The well combination of all ingredients and spices make goulash a culinary masterpiece.
I am very happy and excited to show you the famous recipe that I cook beef goulash.
Ingredients (for 2 portions):
– 400gr beef in cubes
– 1 carrot
– 1 large size potato
– red, green, yellow paprika each in half
– 3tbs minced onion
– tomato sauce
– 2tbs paprika powder
– 1tsp garlic powder
– 1tsp salt
– ½ tsp sugar
– ½ tsp pepper
– 2tsp corn starch
– Moderate amount of cooking oil
Procedures:
1. Season the beef with half tsp of salt, half tsp of pepper, 2tsp of corn starch, some oil for 10-15mins
2. Stir- fry the beef with minced onion, 2tbs paprika powder, 1tsp garlic powder, half tsp salt, half tsp sugar with a little water.
3. Add 500ml water and cook under medium heat for 20mins
4. Add carrot and potato cut in cubes and cook for 20mins
5. Add paprika and cook for 3-5mins
6. Serve with bread/ noodle/ rice.
Note: Feel free to adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
