This Comfort Food Recipe is so Easy. The Stroganoff is made with ground beef and other foods you have on hand. This comfort food recipe (easy) is perfect for a weeknight meal.
This is a go to comfort food in our house and it is quick and easy. Using Sour Cream and cream cheese makes this dish amazing. I served it with homemade sourdough noodles but you can easily serve it with store bought wide egg noodles or any other noodle you may have on hand.

This stroganoff is so easy I almost don’t want to do a formal recipe because you can adjust it to what you have in your fridge but I will try…
1 – 1/12 lbs ground beef
1 medium to large onion
Vegetables (optional)
1-2 T Worcestershire
1 t paprika or more
1 T minced garlic (preferably homemade)
1/2 t dried mustard
3 T extra fine flour (all purposed would work too)
4 cups beef broth
1/2 package cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
Pepper to taste
1 lb wide egg noodles or other noodles
– Brown 1 lb ground beef and 1 large onion
– Add mushrooms and summer squash (or whatever veggies take a little time to cook)
Add 1 T Worcestershire Sauce, 1 T paprika, a scoop of minced garlic, dried mustard and let all the flavors meld together
– add 3 T flour and stir and let cook a couple minutes to cook out the raw flour flavor
– Add 4 cups beef broth, sour cream and cream cheese
– cook and let everything blend together, add pepper to taste
– simmer and let cook on medium low for 15 – 20 minutes
– add spinach or kale if you like
– serve with noodles
