Sausage Stuffing
Ingredients:
-1lb Sausage of choice
-16oz bread of choice
-1/3 cup unsalted butter
-1 large yellow onion chopped
-3-4 chopped celery stalks
-3-5 large minced garlic cloves
-1/2 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
-3 chopped sage leaves
-1-2 Tbsp Fresh Thyme
-1-2 Tbsp chopped rosemary
-Salt and Pepper
-1/2 cup white whine
-3 cups Turkey broth
-1 egg lightly whisked
Recipe:
-preheat oven to 350°
-cut bread into 1 inch pieces and place in bowl
-brown sausage in pan and add to bread
-to pan with sausage drippings, add butter, onion, celery, garlic, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
-Add white wine and reduce by half.
-remove from heat, add stock and combine everything with the bread and one beaten egg. Mix until liquid is absorbed.
-pour into baking dish, bake 30min at 350°
Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
-2 Pounds Idaho Potatoes
-3 Tbsp Salted Butter
-4 Oz cream cheese
-1 Cup whole milk
-Garlic powder
-Salt and Pepper
-Chives or green onion for Garnish
-Paprika for Garnish
Recipe:
-Peel and cube potatoes, boil in salted water for 20 – 30 minutes. Drain.
-mash with butter, cream cheese, milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder
-garnish with green onion or chives and paprika
