Welcome back to What’s For Tea 🙂 Tonight for tea I made an American style classic meatloaf 🙂 Please excuse this recipe if it’s not 100% authentic! I’m obviously not American…but I gave it my best effort 🙂 It really was delicious and so very easy to make.

What I used (serves 5-6 people generously)

2lbs (900g) Beef steak mince or ground beef
1 Onion – finely chopped
3 Cloves garlic – finely chopped
1 Soft baguette or 4 slices white bread
2 Tablespoons (1/4 cup) Chopped parsley
125ml (1/2 cup) Whole milk
2 Free range eggs
90g (1 Cup) Grated parmesan
Splash of Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for frying

FOR THE GLAZE;
220g (1 cup) Tomato ketchup
2 Tablespoons tomato puree
2 Tablespoons (1/4 cup) Brown sugar
1 Teaspoon dried mustard (mustard powder)
1 Teaspoon paprika
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 Teaspoon onion powder
