Chicken tikka Pizza

Chicken tikka pizza Recipe

Step 1:

Dough Ingredients:
Flour 500 gm
Salt 1/3 tsp
Active dry yeast 2 tsp Lukewarm water 325 ml Olive or vegetable Oil 3 tbs Method:
Add salt, active dry yeast and water to the flour and mix well. The texture should be a bit sticky.
Add oil and kneed again. After adding oil, the dough will be easier to handle. Cover the dough and leave to rest in room temperature for two hours.

Step 2:

The ULTIMATE Pizza sauce! Ingredients:
Garlic Cloves, 4
Tomatoes, 4 – cut in half
Olive or cooking oil, 2 Tbs Oregano, 1 tsp
Crushed red chilli, 1 tsp Black pepper, 1⁄2 tsp
Salt, 1⁄2 tsp
Paprika powder 1 tsp Water, 1 liter Method:
In a large utensil, add oil and let it heat. Chop garlic cloves finely and add to oil, fry for 2 minutes. After two minutes, add tomatoes. Tomatoes should be facing their skin up, so it is easier for you to peel off its skin. Remove skin after a few minutes then let it cook for another 30 minutes or so, until the water has dried 80 percent. Then blend the sauce in the blender and return to utensil. Keep cooking again a few minutes, till almost all the water has evaporated and the sauce looks creamy and tasty.
Keep aside.

Step 3:

Cut the Vegetables
Cut the vegetables you like on your pizza and put aside. We used paprika, onions and olives.

Step 4:

Chicken tikka Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken, 500 gm Ginger Garlic paste, 2 tsp Salt 1⁄2 tsp
Ground coriander, 1 tsp Ground Cumin, 1 tsp Red Chilli powder, 1⁄2 tsp Paprika powder, 1 tsp Yoghurt, 100 ml
Oil for frying, 2 tbs
Method:
Add all the spices, chicken and yoghurt in a bowl and mix well. Set aside for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, add oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken on medium heat. After 5 minutes, cover and cook the chicken for another 7-8 minutes. Open the lid and fry the chicken till all the water evaporates and chicken stats giving a fresh aroma.

Step 5:

Assembling:
Method:
-Pre-heat the oven at 350 F / 180 C
-Kneed the dough once and make 2 equal sized dough-balls.
-Grease a baking tray with oil and add the dough ball, working with your hands to stretch it out.
-Wait for 20 minutes to let the gluten work and then it will be easier to kneed. Stretch the dough to fill all the sides of baking tray. Wait another 20 minutes to let the dough rise.
-Add pizza sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese of your choice. Then add chicken tikka pieces, add your favourite vegetables and add more cheese on top.
Bake on 350 F / 180 C for about 12-15 minutes.
