#Chicken Tikka Masala/#Chicken Tikka Curry recipe by #Kitchen Queen
Ingredients:
Chicken
1kg boneless chicken pieces
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp salt
1 cup plain yogurt
½ tsp red chilli
½ tsp garam masala
2 tsp garlic, ginger paste
1 tbsp mustard oil
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp chicken tikka puree (optional)
Gravy
4 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp cumin
2 small copped onion
½ tsp garlic paste
½ tsp ginger paste
2 cup tomato puree
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp red chili
¼ tsp turmeric
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp garam masala
1 tsp salt
1 cup water/ 300ml
4 tbsp cream
1 tsp kasuri methi
Instructions:
1. Marinate chicken with lime juice, salt, plain yogurt, red chili, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garam masala, mustard oil, ginger and garlic paste
2. Marinate for minimum of 30 minutes
3. Drizzle cooking oil in a pan and cook on low-medium heat for 5 minutes on each side
4. Check internal temperature before removing from the heat
5. In a separate pan, sauté onion until soft with cooking oil, cumin seeds and crushed tomato
6. Sauté for 5-6 minutes
7. Stir in coriander, red chili, turmeric, cumin, salt and garam masala
8. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes
9. Pour water and the chicken pieces
10. Cook for 1-2 minutes
11. Drizzle cream and garnish with kasuri methi before serving
12. Ready to serve, you can take with naan OR paratha.
