Chicken pot rice my own version/POLDO Quimanio
Ingredients:
1/2 chicken (any part)
2 1/2 rice
5 pcs.longganisa
2 pcs.hotdog (any brand)
1 pc.potato diced
2 stalks celery and leaves
Onion chopped
Tomato chopped
Garlic chopped
Oyster sauce (2 tbsp.)
3 tbsp.soy sauce
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp paprika powder
1/2 tsp.magic sarap
1 1/2 cups water
Procedures:
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients and cut.
Then marinate chicken with pepper, paprika,magic sarap and soy sauce then set aside for 5/6 minutes. Next used a toothpick to mark a hole into longganisa to avoid popping while cooking it.
Step 2
In a wok,fry garlic onion and tomato then next add in marinated chicken stir and simmer for 3 minutes then add in the rice and water then pour in oyster sauce and stir to mix properly.
Step 4
Next add in potato and longganisa then cover the pot turn the fire in medium heat and let it boil for 30 to 45 minutes or until the rice is totally cooked.
Step 5
Once the rice is cooked add in hotdogs and celery stalks then cover the pot again and let it continue to cooked for atlist 5/6 minutes then add in the celery leaves cover the pot and off the fire and let it simmer for a while then serve.
