We here with my lovely PT @simona772 and her hilarious dad. I genuinely laughed so hard my stomach was in pains after filming this one.

And you know the woman singing in the background song is Simonas MUM!!!! Mária Hoffmann – Mini tini panaszai (if u want to listen)

Paprikash

100ml vegetable oil
1 white onion, finely chopped
3 tbsp Hungarian paprika (sub sweet paprika)
1kg chicken, legs and thighs
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp tomato puree
2 Hungarian peppers (sub 1 yellow bell pepper), deseeded and sliced
200ml water

galuska dumplings
300g plain flour
2 eggs
Pinch of salt

Sour cream to serve

Method:
1. Heat the pan on medium heat and add the oil. Sweat the onions for 5 mins until softened and then add the paprika and toast for a few mins on low.
2. Add in the chicken and salt and allow to cook for 15 mins.
3. Add the tomato puree and peppers and cook for a further 5 mins. Add the water and bring to a bubble cook for another 5 mins or until the chicken is cooked through.
4. For the dumplings, mix together the flour, eggs and salt to form a thick paste.
5. Bring a pan of salted water to a boil. Push the batter through a colander or a noodle grater if you have one. Allow to boil for 2 – 3 mins until the float to the top and then drain.
6. Serve the chicken over the dumplings with the sour cream and enjoy.
