INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN MARINATION
400 gram Chicken
1 tbsp. Ginger Garlic paste
1 tsp Mustard Sauce
2 tbsp. Smoked Tabasco
½ tsp chopped Green Chilies
½ tsp Paprika powder
To taste Salt
INGREDIENTS FOR COATING
1 ½ cup Flour
1 tsp Paprika powder
2 tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 tbsp. Onion powder
To taste Salt
½ tsp Oregano
INGREDIENTS FOR BATTER
2 whole Eggs
⅓ cup Chili Sauce
Pinch of Salt
INGREDIENTS FOR SEASONED CRUMBS
1 ½ cup Bread Crumbs
½ tsp Paprika Powder
To taste Salt
⅓ tsp Black Pepper
INGREDIENTS FOR DIP
½ cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp Mustard Sauce
1 tbsp. Chili Garlic Sauce
1 tsp Hot Sauce
1 tbsp. Ketchup
DIRECTION
1. Wash and dry the chicken
2. Cut chicken fillets and pond the chicken fillet to even thickness.
3. Once all fillets are ready we will add ginger garlic paste, mustard sauce, smoked tabasco, chopped green chilies, paprika powder and salt. Rub all spices over both sides of chicken. Marinate for at least 30 minute.
4. In the meantime we will prepare the dried ingredients coating.
5. Take another bowl or plate and add in flour, paprika powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and oregano. Mix all the dry ingredients and set aside.
6. For egg batter we will add 2 whole eggs in a bowl, chili sauce and pinch of salt give it a good whisk and it’s done.
7. We will prepare the seasoned crumbs now for that we will take bread crumbs, paprika powder, salt and black pepper, give it a good mix and it’s ready.
8. Once our chicken is marinated. Dip each chicken breast into flour mixture (tap of the excess flour) then egg and finally bread crumbs. Repeat until all chicken breasts are coated. Set aside while we will make the dip.
9. For dip add mayonnaise, mustard sauce, chili garlic sauce, hot sauce and ketchup. Give it a good mix and it is ready to serve with chicken katsu.
10. Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5min on each side or until cooked through.
11. Yumiztizer style chicken katsu is ready to serve with yumitizer special dip. You can serve with rice, fries or salad. Enjoy!
