Chicken Biryani Recipe || Medium Spice (For Kids)
Ingredients:
Half kilo to 1 kilo chopped chicken
2 BIG red onions
Juice of lemon (for marinading the chicken)
3 gloves of garlic
1 bunch fresh parsley
5-6 pcs. mint leaves
Cinnamon sticks
2 pcs bay leaf
4-5 pcs. cloves
1 pc star anise (optional)
1 cup fresh yogurt
Spices:
1 tsp. sweet paprika
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. turmeric powder
2 tsp. biryani masala
1/2 tsp. coriander powder
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. black pepper powder
1 pack tomato paste
Salt to taste
How to cook:
1. Clean and marinate the chicken with lemon juice and a dash of black pepper powder.
2. Wash the 2 cups long grain rice. Soak in hot boiled water, then set aside.
3. Slice the big onions (make 2 cuos)
4. Chop the parsley and mint. Set aside.
5. Fry the sliced onions until golden.
6. In a big pot, saute 2 tbsp onions in 2 tbsp oil.. add crushed garlic..
