Tacos are a famous Mexican starter. If you have been longing to learn the perfect recipe to these, here is a step by step guide to acing Cauliflower Tacos at home.
Cauliflower Tacos:
Ingredients:
Cauliflower 1 head
Oil 3-4 tbsp
Tortillas warmed as required
Fresh coriander or lettuce as required
Cabbage as required
Lemon juice as required
Garlic mayo as required
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Smoked paprika 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Onion powder 1 tsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Preheat oven to 450 and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. While the oven is heating, stir together the spice mix in a small bowl and chop cauliflower in bite sized florets. Then put them into a large bowl and lightly coat with oil.
Spread the spiced cauliflower onto the lined baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes. Once cauliflower is done simply the fill your warmed tortilla, add a squeeze of fresh lime and then drizzle garlic mayo and fresh coriander overtop.
Spicy Hot Pizza:
Ingredients:
Hot sauce 1/4 cup
Pizza sauce 1/4 cup
Oil 1 tbsp
Pizza dough 300 gm
Shredded cheese 1 ½ cups
Shredded chicken ½ cups
Cherry tomatoes 1/2 cup
Red onion (minced) 2 tbsp
Olives 2 tbsp
Green chilies (sliced) 3 tbsp
Oregano 1tsp
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 c. In a small bowl, whisk together pizza sauce with Hot sauce and Set aside. Drizzle a 12-inch pizza pan with oil. Press pizza dough into the pan so that it covers the whole surface evenly. Spread spicy pizza sauce on the dough. Top with shredded cheese, chicken, cherry tomatoes, olives, green chillies, oregano and onion on top. Bake pizza for 14–16 minutes until edges are browned and crisp. Serve hot.
