I have left-over cabbage and carrot, so I thought of making a quick snack or pulutan. Some call it cabbage pancake, torta or tortilla de repollo or ukoy. No matter how you call it, it is very easy.

Ingredients:
¾ cup Cabbage (finely chopped)
½ cup Carrot (julienned)
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
Oil for frying
Steps:
Add flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl
Stir in the egg and mix well
Add the cabbage and carrot and mix well
Add ½ tablespoon oil and mix well
Heat the oil.
Pour the entire mixture and flatten the top.
Fry at low-medium flame, approximately 10 mins on the first side and 4 mins for the other side.
Serve immediately with your choice of drink, rose, beer or white wine suggested.
