There are two components of this dish, a soft and tender chicken and a creamy smooth gravy.

For marinade

600g chicken
2 tbsp yogurt
a pinch Saffron
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp butter for frying

for Gravy you need:

100 g butter
4 cardamom
1 mace
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
2 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp ginger paste
1 green chili
1 medium size onion
2 large tomatoes
salt to taste
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp turmeric
12-15 Cashew nuts
1 tsp sugar
5 tbsp cream
50 g butter
1 tsp dried Fenugreek leaves
cilantro and cream for garnishing
