Beef & Chorizo Burgers
Ingredients
Ground Beef – 2 Pounds 90%Lean/10%fat
Chorizo sausage – 1 Pound ground Chorizo
Parsley – 2 cups chopped
Green Onions – 1 cup chopped
Egg – 1 Egg
Salt – 1 Tbs
Garlic Powder – 1 Tbs
Black Pepper – 1 Tbs
Smoked Paprika – 1 Tsp
Regular Paprika – 1 Tsp
Step 1
Crack the egg into a nutribullet or blender jar.
Step 2
Into the jar with one egg , add the 2 cups chopped parsley and 1 cup chopped green onions.
Step 3
In a nutribullet or blender. blend the egg/parsley/green onion mix into a fine puree.
Step 4
Into a large bowl, add in the 2 pounds ground beef , 1 pound ground chorizo sausage .
Add in the parsley/green onion puree mix.
Into the large bowl also add, 1Tbs salt , 1Tbs black pepper, 1Tbs garlic powder, 1Tsp smoked paprika, 1Tsp regular paprika.
Mix everything together by hand ….
Step5
In a tray make tennis ball size Hamburgers.
Step 6
Press one at a time to form your burgers as you go down the line.
Step 7
Grill the burgers for 5mins a side.
Then flip burgers and cook for another 5mins.
Optional – for the last minute of grilling, dress the burgers with your choice of Cheese.
Step 8
Let the burgers rest.
Step 9
Serve your burgers.
