Hello my foodie friends and welcome to Tony’s Comfort Kitchen. These barbecue slow cooker ribs are the business. The slow cooker keeps these ribs deliciously moist. You can then brush on the amazing barbecue sauce and finish them off on the barbecue or indeed in the oven.
Ingredients
1kg pork ribs
2-3 tbsp apple sauce
2 tbsp runny honey
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp Chinese 5-spice
salt and pepper to taste
BBQ sauce ingredients
240ml tomato ketchup
1 tbsp hot chili powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin powder
60g brown sugar
60ml cider vinegar
60ml water
2 tbsp molasses or black treacle
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic paste
