🧀 Homemade Vegan Cheese Sauce (No Oil & No Nuts) 🧀
After trying so many vegan nacho cheese sauce recipes and attempting literally so many vegan recipes, I think I finally found the best vegan cheese sauce recipe! It’s oil free, nut free soy free, completely allergy friendly so everyone can enjoy it, AND it doesn’t use potatoes or anything you have to cook, so it’s quick and easy to make! This plant based cheese recipe is super cheesy and tastes great on just about anything, but if you’re anything like me then you might just eat it this plant based cheese sauce by the spoonful!

As vegans, so many people think we don’t get to enjoy things like cheese, but that’s just not true when you make vegan nacho cheese taste this good! It’s also oil free, nut free, soy free, obviously dairy free and gluten free, so it’s safe for most people with allergies! Try making this vegan cheese sauce for yourself! You won’t regret it! Vegan Nacho Cheese Sauce Recipe:
1 can great northern beans (drained and rinsed)
1 cup water
Juice from 1 lemon
1/3 cup nutritional yeast (I prefer non fortified)
2 tsp tapioca starch or cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
Dash cayenne
Hot sauce to taste (optional)

VITAMIX DIRECTIONS:
Blend all ingredients in Vitamix starting on low speed gradually increasing until the highest speed. Blend on high speed until warm and steamy. Add water if necessary.

DIRECTIONS:
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Transfer to a pot on the stovetop over medium low heat. Whisk until it begins to bubble and thicken. Add water if it needed to thin it out.

You can store this in the fridge for 1-2 weeks!
