NOW FOR THIS DELICIOUS RECIPE:
CVC’S AIR FRYER CHICKEN TENDERS
1 LARGE BONELESS SKINLESS CHICKEN BREAST
ONE PIE PLATE: ADD 1/2 CUP MELTED BUTTER
ONE PIE PLATE: ADD 1 CUP SELF RISING FLOUR, 1 TBSP. PAPRIKA, 1 TSP. SALT, 1/2 TSP. PEPPER, 1/2 TSP. ONION POWDER AND BLEND
ONE PIE PLATE: ADD 1 1/2 CUP PANKO CRUMBS
Turn whole breast on it’s side and cut the thickness in half. Cut each half into strips. Strips should not be thicker than 3/4″.
Lay all of the strips into the plate of butter and coat well.
Take each strip and lightly dredge into flour and then put in the panko and press the panko onto each side VERY WELL.
Spray your air fryer with cooking spray on the bottom. Place strips into fryer basket at least 1” apart. Cook on 380 degrees for 8 minutes. Take basket out of fryer and turn each strip over carefully (so you do not knock off the panko). Cook another 7 minutes on 380 degrees. I use a 1700 watt air fryer so if your air fryer doesn’t have as much power cook them a few extra minutes. These are so delicious with your favorite dipping sauce.
WARNING: Cook chicken to an internal safe temperature before consuming.
