An easy homemade lobster macaroni and cheese recipe
Lobster Mac
1 16oz box of Rigatoni
1/2- 1 tsp salt for water
DO NOT PUT OIL IN WATER
Sauce:
6oz gruyere cheese
10oz Parmesan
1cup mozzarella
1 8oz block cream cheese
2 1/2 cups of whole milk can use 2 if you prefer sauce be thicker
1/2 tsp pepper and salt
1/4 cup butter
Topping:
1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs (plain)
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp old bay
1/4 cup butter
2 lobster tails and claws
Season for tails: drizzle olive oil, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp old bay
Sauce for lobster
1/4 cup butter
1/4-1/2 bulb of fresh garlic
Sautรฉ for 2-5 mins donโt overcook or lobster will be rubbery
Bring water to a boil, add salt and add noodles
Cook noodles 12-14 mins then drain
Medium heat for cooking noodles
I bought my lobsters already cooked so I shelled my lobster tails and claws and cut into bite size pieces.
After cutting I drizzled in olive oil and seasoned with my paprika and old bay.
After seasoning I set lobster aside and melted my butter and added in fresh garlic. I brought my butter and garlic to a low simmer and then added in lobster. I left lobster about 2 mins since it was already cooked. Sit pan aside.
When I made my sauce I shredded my cheese with a hand grater. In my pot I added in all of my cheeses, milk salt and pepper. I turned stove on to medium heat and stirred continuously until the cheese was melted. After sauce is done add noodles and lobster in to the sauce. Put pasta into a baking dish spread panko and 1/4 cup of mozzarella over top and bake on 350 for 25-30 mins.
