– Classic Hummus:
• 2 x 400g chickpeas (drained)
• 10 tablespoons olive oil
• Juice of 2 lemons
• 2 heaped teaspoons tahini
• 3 cloves peeled garlic
• 2 teaspoons ground cumin
• Salt & pepper
Place all the ingredients into food processor with 3 tablespoons water & blend till smooth.
– Red Pepper & Paprika Flavour:
• 2 x large red peppers
• 2 teaspoons paprika
Preheat oven to 210ºC (fan 190ºC)
Slice red peppers into long strips, removing seeds.
Place strips into baking tray & bake for 10 min until slightly browned.
Add peppers & paprika to food processor with classic hummus & blend until smooth.
