✅Ingredients
1 frozen whole chicken (3-5 lbs)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Optional: Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme)
✅Instructions
Prepare the chicken: Place the frozen whole chicken in the basket, breast side down. Air fry at 360°F for 40 minutes to begin thawing and cooking the chicken.
Remove giblets (if applicable): After 40 minutes, carefully remove the chicken from the air fryer and check for thawed giblets inside the cavity. Remove if needed.
Season the chicken: Brush the chicken with olive oil, then sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over the chicken. Rub the seasoning all over for an even coat.
Air fry again: Place the chicken back in the air fryer, this time breast side up. Continue to air fry at 360°F for another 30-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the breast and thigh.
