Can Eestherlee’s mac and cheese top Tini’s PERFECTION?
β¨Recipe:
1 lb cavatappi
1 lb mozzarella
1 lb colby jack
Β½ lb sharp cheddar
1 tsp chicken bouillon
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp flour
16 oz evaporated milk
2 cups heavy cream
Β½ tbsp Dijon mustard
Directions:
1. Bring large pot water to a boil, then add in your cavatappi and cook until just al dente. Shred cheese and set aside. Combine chicken bouillon, garlic powder, and smoked paprika then set aside.
2. In a pan on medium heat, melt butter. Once butter is fully melted, mix in half of your seasoning mixture, flour, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Then add the rest of the seasoning mixture, and the dijon mustard.
3. Once mixed, add half your shredded cheese and mix until fully melted.
4. Add noodles and coat well.
5. Once well coated, add your macaroni to a large baking dish, layering the other half of your shredded cheese as you go.
6. Place in oven at 350Β°F for 20 minutes, and then broil for an additional 5 minutes until browned and bubbly.
7. Remove from oven, serve immediately, and enjoy! π
